Champion Bred by and currently owned by: Tom and Lori Rickard When Costner was returned to us by Manuel Cruz García in February 2005, he was in very poor condition. Please see the photos taken on February 16, 2005. He was at least 20, maybe 25, pounds underweight, his urination is very dark, teeth and gums in terrible condition and he has numerous sores on his legs and belly from infection. The biggest thing right now to get through - is his teeth. There is a lot of gum disease and not to sure about some of teeth. His sores will heal. His skinny body will fatten up, his smiling face is already coming back, his urine is not so dark any more and he is on a natural cranberry to help with that, his rear being so terribly hockey WELL not so sure that will come completely back but he will be able to function. The vet just completed a full CBC panel and checked him over really well. We have not received the CBC results at this time (noon 2/17/05).
